Importing & Library

Offbeat supports unlimited song imports from your local files. There are no caps on how many tracks you can bring in.

Import music from the Files app or local storage
Supported formats include MP3, FLAC, AAC, WAV, and more
Restart the app if a file doesn't appear after import

Offbeat includes a full LRC lyrics studio — create, sync, and import lyrics your way.

Write your own LRC lyrics from scratch inside the app

Convert audio files between formats without leaving the app. Everything runs on-device, no desktop required.

Converted files save back to your library

Quick fixes before writing in

Update to the latest version

Most issues are fixed in the newest release. Open the App Store, go to your profile, and check for updates to Offbeat.

Restart the app

Swipe Offbeat away in the app switcher and relaunch it — especially helpful after importing a large batch of files.

Check file permissions

If Offbeat can't see your files, go to iOS Settings → Offbeat and make sure it has Files and Media access.

Re-import the track

If a song plays incorrectly or lyrics won't attach, try removing it and re-importing from the Files app.
